My favorite thing is when conservative Republicans say “WAKE UP PEOPLE” followed by some ridiculous scenario that is supposedly going to “take away (their) rights”, usually backed up with hyperbolic reasoning and outlandish claims that Obama is a non-citizen, socialist out to get white, cisgendered, heterosexual Christians…

If you watch Fox News, we can’t be friends. 

I was reading a Yahoo! article on the Amendment 1 legislation that passed yesterday in North Carolina, and I couldn’t be more disgusted with some of the comments. 

I really have no words to describe how angry and saddened this makes me. We’re in 2012, and people still have to fight for their civil rights and liberties against idiots like these. I don’t want to stoop to their level, but I think they should be force-fed bleach. 

Shut up, you narrow-minded, Bible thumping conservatives. I don’t even fucking have patience for this shit anymore. Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Mitt Romney can shut their mouths. 

Obama’s religion is irrelevant because, you know what? Christianity isn’t the established religion of this country. According the first amendment, the United States government won’t and can’t establish a national religion. There’s this implied power and idea that’s called “separation of church and state”. We are not trying to hire a theologian-in-chief - we’re hiring a commander-in-chief, mother fuckers. 

It doesn’t matter if Obama is a Muslim, a Christian, a Hindu, etc. His personal religious values have nothing to do with his term in office. Stop being stupid cunts, and shove your Bible up your ass instead of down other people’s throats.
